Do you think Manchester City fans chanting Munich songs was an appropriate way to celebrate today?

I had to go through Manchester City Centre today, trust me not by choice, it was chocco, loads of places cordoned off, had to walk a bit to a working bus stop. I was dismayed to see groups of lads outside pubs singing all the Munich stuff! In what way was that relevant to bringing the cup home?
