HOT HOUSE need help for cooling down my 5 month old?

my daughter jacquelynn is 5 months old , she teething and our house is SO hot that im sweating in my bathing suit ! i do have a baby pool for my daughter , i need some ideas to cool her and my self down ! shes fussing out of controll ( and i cant turn on my ac or my mother in law would kill me!) any ideas PLEASE!!!!!!!!
