I want to go to school in botston but cant afford the living costs what do i do?

i am currently living in maine, i work construction, i have a wife, a daughter of my own and 2 step children, i have no prob travelling back and fourth to c my children but i need to find a place to live for me and my wife while im in school in boston at le cordon blue, im laid off right now for the winter and am on unemployment till this summer, i have been trying to do this for many years now and i allways get talked out of it cuz its too expensive to live there, but is it really? is there anything i can do to work in boston and go to school and pay for my living costs, im tired of being told that i just cant cuz its too expensive, can anyone please tell me how the heck i can do this i would b verry happy,
