I was pounding the meat lastnight when she came home...?

So I was pounding a nice piece of meat lastnight when my wife came home... She yelled at me for making all kinds of noise when she wanted quiet time. I was stumped.. Here I was making home-made cordon bleu for her and she was complaining... Have any of you been yelled at for pounding meat?
