Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA?

Hi. Has anyone attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, Ca for the associates program from Baking and Pastry for the 15-month period? If so, what was the schedule like, and is it near LA? I want to have a schedule similar to high school and I'd love to bump into celebrites. Also, was there any homework or hard tests? And where are the nice affordable apartments? Thanks!
